This project required a plaster frame 4.2m LUXAIR® LX Model 1 to provide air distribution and accent lighting to the open plan kitchen/Diner of our client’s extension, the minimalistic appearance of LUXAIR® complimented our clients modern extension perfectly.
All technical calculations were conducted by our lighting and HVAC Engineers which allowed us to advise the client that a 2-slot air flow system was required to achieve the desired air performance, which would result in one beam of light, the client however opted to go for a 3-slot diffuser giving 2 beams of light, purely an aesthetic decision.
The LUXAIR® was fitted with our accent lighting LED strip and was supplied in a 4,000k colour temperature to match the lighting them.
The project is still in progress, we cannot wait to see the finished article.

Ambient lighting provides overall uniform lighting. Task is direct, intense illumination is ideal for detailed task work, such as reading and writing at a desk.
Accent lighting is Intended to highlight a specific object or area. Accent lighting draws attention to a feature, such as artwork, furnishings, or architectural details, converting them into focal points.
